FRONT CARRY (BIRTH TO 40LBS)

Small baby benefits:
Using the rings closes the sides of the carrier for security and holds baby close to your body for comfort, bonding and peace of mind.

Larger baby benefits:
You do not have to use the side rings with an older child (over 4 months) however there are benefits to doing so. Threading the straps through the side rings results in fantastic weight distribution of a larger baby. You will find that the closer your child is held to your body, the lighter they will feel. Using the side rings will enable you to carry a child for long periods of time should they desire.

BACK CARRY (4 MONTHS TO 40LBS)

We recommend that you do not carry a baby younger than 4 months on your back. A baby is more vulnerable on your back and more difficult to place in carrier; it is also less easy to check their well being whilst out of your sight and reach. You do not have to use the side rings with a child over 4 months however they offer a tying method which is preferred by some as it removes any pressure on the shoulders, as shown below.
